梆子

清代初随着梆子腔地方戏的兴起而普遍流行。以红木制成，发音清脆、坚实。是河北梆子、豫剧、秦腔、评剧等戏曲伴奏乐队的代表性节奏乐器。

BANGZI: CONCUSSION PLAQUE

The concussion plaque instrument began to be popular with the rise of the same name opera in North China in the early period of the Qing Dynasty (1644~1911). It consists of two short bars of red sandal, producing a clear and solid sound. The type is a representative instrument for rhythm in the ensembles of some local opera genres in such provinces as Hebei, Henan, and Shannxi.
